This policy explains which cookies G&T Talent Radar uses and why. The short version: we use only two cookies: the one without which logging in would not work, and the one that remembers the language you chose yourself. We have no analytics, marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so that the website can recognise it on the next request. Without cookies, the browser would send every click as if you were a completely new person, so a login could not be maintained.

2. Which cookies we use

Two:

• gtsid – the login session cookie. It contains a random session identifier, not your personal data. It is set on this domain, is not accessible to JavaScript (HttpOnly), is sent only over a secure connection (Secure) and is restricted to our site (SameSite=Lax). It is deleted when you close your browser, and the session also ends after a period of inactivity (30 minutes by default) or when you log out.
• gt_lang – remembers the language of the site (Croatian or English) that you chose yourself by clicking HR or EN in the header, so that the site stays in that language. It contains only the value ‘hr’ or ‘en’, not your personal data. It is set only when you choose a language yourself, is not accessible to JavaScript (HttpOnly), is sent only over a secure connection (Secure), is restricted to our site (SameSite=Lax) and lasts one year, or until you delete it.

The gtsid cookie is technically necessary for the logged-in part of the site to work, so by law no consent is required for it, and it cannot be switched off without login ceasing to work. If you are only browsing the site without logging in, the cookie is still set so that forms are protected against misuse (CSRF). The gt_lang cookie is set only at your request, when you choose a language, and serves solely to remember that choice.

3. What we do not use

• No Google Analytics or any other analytics tool.
• No marketing, advertising or remarketing cookies.
• No third-party cookies and no tracking across other websites.
• No social media plug-ins that would set their own cookies.

4. Browser storage that is not a cookie

For the sake of completeness: on the candidate list, your browser remembers locally whether you last used the ‘Cards’ or ‘List’ view (the gt_view item in the browser's local storage). This is not a cookie, it is not sent to the server and it does not contain any personal data – it serves only to keep your choice of view from being reset every time you open the page.

5. Managing cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings – usually under ‘Privacy and security’. If you block cookies for this domain, login and the protected part of Talent Radar will not work, while the public pages will remain accessible.

6. Changes

If we ever add a new cookie, this policy will be updated before that cookie goes live on the site. We announce material changes on this page.
